What Is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is an advanced, non-surgical treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate collagen production, tighten the skin and remodel deeper tissues.
At Dr. Jenny Clinic, we offer the latest generation of this technology: Morpheus8 Burst and Morpheus8 Burst Deep, which allow energy to be delivered at multiple skin depths in a single pass, for more efficient and powerful results.
Morpheus8 Burst is ideal for superficial and mid-dermal rejuvenation, especially the face, jawline and neck.
Morpheus8 Burst Deep targets deeper subdermal layers, making it perfect for areas like the abdomen or thighs.
These minimally invasive treatments are customisable, effective, and suitable for a range of skin concerns, with little downtime and no surgery.
How Does Morpheus8 Work?
Morpheus8 uses ultrafine microneedles to create controlled microchannels in the skin, while simultaneously delivering RF energy to targeted layers.
This powerful combination:
Triggers collagen and elastin production
Improves skin structure and tightness
Remodels subcutaneous tissue to enhance definition and lift
Targets different depths of the skin in a single treatment thanks to Burst Technology
The result is visibly firmer, smoother, and more even-toned skin that continues to improve in the weeks following your treatment.
What Areas Can Be Treated with Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 can be used to treat the:
Face and neck
Jawline and submental (under-chin) area
Décolletage
Abdomen
Thighs and buttocks
Knees or arms
It is suitable for a range of concerns including:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Skin laxity (mild to moderate)
Uneven skin tone or texture
Acne scarring
Enlarged pores
Loss of facial contour or jawline definition
Localised fat under the chin or on the body
The bespoke nature of the treatment means that we can be very selective in choosing the right depths and energy settings depending on what concerns you are trying to address and depending on which area we are treating.
What to Expect from Morpheus 8 Treatment
Your journey begins with a thorough consultation to assess your skin, review your medical history, take pre-treatment photos, and ensure you're fully informed.
So please ensure you book in for a consultation first as we won’t be able to proceed with same-day treatment if it is your first time having treatment with us.
Your consultation fee is fully redeemable against your first treatment fee.
On the day of treatment:
A topical numbing cream is applied and left on for around 45 minutes
The treatment area is then precisely targeted using the Morpheus8 Burst or Burst Deep device
You may feel short bursts of stinging, heat or pressure but any discomfort is very short-lived
Redness, mild swelling or light bruising may occur and remain for a few days afterwards
Most patients resume daily activities within 24-48 hours, though we will advise some aftercare adjustments to optimise healing.
How Many Sessions Are Needed for Morpheus8?
A full Morpheus8 course typically involves:
3-4 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results
Annual maintenance sessions help sustain and build on the initial improvements
The number of sessions may vary depending on your skin condition, treatment area, and overall goals.
